The Languedoc region in south central France, a majestically beautiful and rugged area, is home to some of France's best and most interesting wines.
Traditionally French, without the glitz and glamour of its neighbors on the Côte d'Azur, Languedoc has rolling hills of grapevines with the backdrop of the snow-capped Pyrenees Mountains.
Throughout the region, there are charming old villages with hard-working and winemaking people as well as the cities of Montpellier, Nîmes and Carcassonne, all historically important locations.
Popular cuisine: seafood, cassoulet, duck, regional truffles, oysters, fish, figs, goat cheese, superb and interesting wines.

- Second Course: Camargue Salad
- Third Course: Bourride, hearty and delicious fish stew popular in southern France
